PDFs to ZIP Online
Need to send several PDFs at once? Drop them all in, and GroPDF bundles them into a single .zip file you can email or share β everything happens on your device.
Drag & drop your file here
or click to browse your device
Add as many PDFs as you like β remove any with β before creating the ZIP.
One file instead of many
Email attachments, upload forms and chat apps all handle a single file better than a dozen. When you convert PDF to ZIP with GroPDF, every document you drop in is packed into one tidy .zip archive β filenames kept intact, nothing re-encoded, nothing uploaded to a server.
How to bundle PDFs into a ZIP
Drag in your PDFs (or click to browse), remove any you don't want with the β button, then hit Create ZIP. Your browser builds the archive locally and downloads it straight away. If two files share a name, GroPDF renames the copies automatically so nothing gets overwritten inside the archive.
Steps at a glance
- Upload two or more PDF files.
- Optionally rename files so the archive is self-explanatory.
- Click to create the ZIP.
- Download the single .zip containing all your PDFs.
Why bundle PDFs into ZIP with GroPDF?
Email clients and upload forms often limit attachments per message or total size. A ZIP compresses the bundle and turns ten attachments into one. GroPDF builds the archive in your browser with real compression β no server round-trip, no waiting β and the PDFs inside are bit-identical to the originals.
Common use cases
- Bundling application documents (CV, certificates, references) into one upload.
- Archiving a project's PDF deliverables as a single file.
- Sending multiple invoices to a client in one attachment.
- Packing ebooks or manuals for easy sharing.
Things to know
ZIP uses standard DEFLATE compression; already-compressed PDFs won't shrink much further β the benefit here is bundling, not dramatic size reduction. The recipient needs any standard unzip tool (built into Windows, macOS, and most phones).
Frequently asked questions
Does zipping change my PDFs?
No. Files inside a ZIP are stored losslessly β extracting gives you bit-identical copies.
How much smaller will the ZIP be?
PDFs are usually already compressed, so expect modest savings (often 0-10%). The real win is one file instead of many.
Can I add non-PDF files?
This tool is for PDFs. For mixed files, use your OS's built-in compression or GroPDF's Extract ZIP in reverse.
Is there a file count limit?
No fixed limit, but dozens of very large PDFs will take a while and use memory. Batch in groups if needed.
