Terms of Service

By using GroPDF, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

GroPDF provides free online PDF tools. Most tools run entirely in your browser. Protect PDF processes files on our server (files are deleted immediately after processing). We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool at any time without notice.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use GroPDF only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Upload files you do not have the right to process
  • Attempt to disrupt the service, overload servers, or circumvent security measures
  • Use the service to process illegal content
  • Misrepresent the output of our tools (for example, presenting a visually-signed PDF as cryptographically certified)

3. Your files and responsibility

You retain all rights to files you process. You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have the right to upload and process your files
  • Keeping backup copies of important documents
  • Verifying output quality before relying on it (especially for beta converters)
  • Understanding that client-side processing happens on your device — we cannot recover files you lose

4. Copyright

Do not use GroPDF to infringe copyrights. Do not remove passwords from PDFs you do not own or lack authorization to unlock. We are not responsible for copyright violations by users.

5. No warranties

GroPDF is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • That tools will be available at all times
  • That output will be error-free or suitable for any particular purpose
  • That beta converters will preserve complex layouts perfectly

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GroPDF is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or business interruption.

7. Third-party services

GroPDF uses third-party services including Google Translate (for language selection) and potentially Google AdSense (for advertising). Your use of these features is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
