GroPDF is a free online PDF toolkit. This policy explains what happens to your files and data when you use our site.

How We Process Your Files

Most GroPDF tools process files directly in your browser. For these tools, files are not uploaded to GroPDF servers.

All tools — including Protect PDF — process files entirely in your browser. No files are uploaded to GroPDF servers.

We do not use uploaded documents for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

What we collect

GroPDF does not require accounts. We do not collect names, email addresses, or passwords for tool usage.

Files: Client-side tools never send your files to us. Protect PDF uploads are deleted immediately after processing.
Usage data: We may collect anonymous, aggregated statistics (such as which tools are popular) to improve the site. This does not include file contents.
Contact messages: If you contact us, we receive the information you provide (such as your email address) solely to respond to your message.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data.
We do not store your PDF files (except transient Protect PDF processing, deleted immediately).
We do not require accounts to use the tools.

Cookies

GroPDF itself uses minimal cookies necessary for site functionality (such as remembering your preferences). If GroPDF enables advertising through Google AdSense in the future, Google may use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ads Settings. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

Third-party services

Google Translate: Our language selector uses Google Translate, which may process page text through Google's servers when you select a language.
Google AdSense: If ads are displayed, Google serves them and may collect data per their own policy.

Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all connections. Client-side processing means your files never traverse the network for most tools. For Protect PDF, files are transmitted over HTTPS and deleted immediately after encryption.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not upload highly sensitive documents to any online tool, including ours, unless you understand and accept the risks.

Children's privacy

GroPDF is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your rights

Since we do not store your files or require accounts, there is minimal personal data to access or delete. If you contacted us by email and wish us to delete your message, contact us at the address below.

Advertising and Google AdSense

GroPDF does not currently use Google AdSense unless advertising has been enabled and approved.

If GroPDF enables Google AdSense in the future, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure advertisements. The Privacy Policy will be updated when advertising is activated.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve. The "Last updated" date above will reflect changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
